Bring Pluto! Select Disney Resorts Now Allow Dogs!
You can finally experience the happiest place on earth with your best friend on earth! Well, sort of. Select Disney Resorts now allow dogs to join their owners on vacation in Florida. Unfortunately dogs (with the exception of service animals) are not allowed in the parks, but they are welcome to come with and stay in your hotel room or at the on site doggie day care.
The four resorts that are now offering this pet friendly program include Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside Resort, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, and The Cabins at Disney’s Ft. Wilderness Resort.

The resorts will allow a maximum of two good pups per room. Each doggo is required to be up to date on all of their vaccines, and will have to pay between $50 and $75 for a cleaning fee depending on the resort.
In true Disney fashion the resorts will be offering their furry guests with an adorable “Pluto’s Welcome Kit” that includes a mat, bowls, pet ID tag, disposable bags, puppy pads, dog walking maps, and a do not disturb sign letting staff know there is a dog in the room.

If you feel guilty about leaving your cute little pupper alone while you go out and enjoy yourself, Disney has a solution! You can take them to the happiest doggie day camp on earth! Besides making friends and ruff-housing around, your doggo can enjoy multiple add on activities such as cuddle time, walk & explore, and an ice-cream break. Sounds like they’ll be living the good life!
