BRB, There’s A Dog Friendly Bar In Austin!
The world is slowly becoming more dog friendly and we are so here for it. Anyone who’s even a halfway decent dog owner knows the struggle of going out for the night and leaving your BFF behind. You’d be lying if you said those puppy eyes didn’t make you reconsider having a social life at all. So what if we told you there’s a dog friendly bar that encourages you to do the two things you love most: get funky and hang out with your sweet doggo.

Yard Bar in Austin Texas offers up good food, good beer, and of course good dogs. The menu serves up some good looking chow, including some delicious sliders and ice cream just for fido. If you’re feeling parched there are always local brews on tap, and a rotation of some tasty (and boozed up) slurpees.
But we haven’t even mentioned the best part of Yard bar. While you’re sitting back and relaxing with a drink in hand, your precious pupper can run around in the dog park! The park is huge, has plenty of seating, features an agility course, has built in misters, and plenty of trees to shade you. Oh and plenty of kiddie pools for you dog to cool down in.

Entrance for your dog to roam the dog park is $5.50. Just a small fee to see pure joy as your buddy runs around with his friends. There are of course some rules to ensure that everyone has a good time. Your pupper should be up to date on all their vaccines, spayed or neutered, have all their tags, and be at least 4 months old. They should also be on their best behavior. No ruff-housing allowed!
